I start by listening—really listening—to understand the culture, values, and specific challenges each setting faces. Then I blend research-backed approaches with multiple practical, real-world strategies to create a strategic plan, custom curricula, training programs, and implementation modules that actually work in day-to-day classrooms or offices.
But it doesn’t stop there. It is the hands-on personal investment you and I make that truly helps teams grow. Whether it’s leading professional development sessions, observing, listening and exploring systems, or offering one-on-one coaching, I’m committed to giving educators, administrators and business leaders the insights, tools, and guidance they need. I help them refine their systems, streamline processes, and shape a culture that supports both teaching and learning at every level.

From the bustling energy of kindergarten classrooms to the quieter hum of high school hallways, my journey as an educator has been a whirlwind—equal parts exhilarating, messy, and rewarding. Add to that summer side hustles in businesses doing everything from sales to marketing.
Over two decades, I’ve taught every grade level, worked under education and business leaders both brilliant and flawed (always taking mental notes), and served as a substitute, parapro, teacher, principal, administrator, and program director, with the heart and passion of a leader.
All these experiences have set the stage for my Education and Business Consulting Firm, Learning Lens, LLC, designing material, inspiring others and determined to spark positive change in our education and community landscape.
With over 20 years in the business and education fields, and in public, private, charter, and international school settings, I’ve seen it all—the triumphs, the tantrums, and especially the transformative power of a well-chosen book or a "Eureka!" moment. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned to help shape more vibrant, and effective communities.
